Overview
Romania has become the main European entry route for Bangladeshi workers, recruiting for construction, food processing, warehousing, hospitality and agriculture. Wages are substantially above Gulf levels, and the work permit is an EU-country permit with the longer-term possibilities that implies.
Two cautions. Processing is slow - three to five months is normal - and the route attracts heavy fraud because of its appeal. Verify that the employer's work permit approval from the Romanian immigration authority actually exists before paying anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I move to another EU country from Romania?
Not automatically. A Romanian work permit authorises work in Romania. Working elsewhere in the EU requires a separate permit from that country. Anyone telling you a Romanian permit lets you work anywhere in Europe is misleading you, and it is a common sales tactic.
Why does it cost so much more than the Gulf?
Work permit fees, apostilled document preparation, translation, insurance and air fare are all substantially higher, and processing takes three times as long. The higher wage usually recovers the difference within twelve to eighteen months.
How do I verify the job is real?
The employer must hold an approved work permit (aviz de munca) issued by the Romanian immigration authority, carrying a reference number. Ask to see it. No permit, no job - regardless of what any contract says.
What are the actual working conditions?
Standard EU rules: typically 40 hours per week with paid overtime, statutory annual leave and legally mandated health and safety standards. Accommodation is often provided or subsidised; confirm it in the contract.
Check all employer documents and agency licence before payment. Never send money to a personal mobile wallet number.
