Waleed Al Zohair Overseas Limited, holder of BMET recruiting licence RL-1367, is responsible for the information described in this policy.
2. What we collect
- Identity data: name, family names, date of birth, NID, passport number and photograph.
- Contact data: mobile, WhatsApp, email, district and address.
- Application data: education, skills, work experience and previous overseas employment.
- Uploaded documents: passport bio page, photo, CV, certificates, police clearance and medical reports.
- Technical data: IP hash, browser type, pages visited and referral source.
3. Why we collect it
- To assess eligibility and match applicants to lawful overseas positions.
- To prepare, submit and follow up visa and employment applications.
- To contact applicants by phone, SMS and WhatsApp.
- To meet legal obligations as a licensed recruiting agency.
- To improve the website and understand service demand.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only where necessary to process an application: with employers, embassies, visa centres, BMET, medical centres and airlines.
We do not sell data or share it with other recruiting agencies or brokers.
5. How we protect it
- Documents should be stored outside the public web directory.
- Only assigned case officers and authorised managers should access documents.
- Sensitive numbers should be encrypted at rest.
- The website should run over HTTPS with backups and malware scanning.
6. How long we keep it
Successful placement records are retained for the period required by BMET and Bangladeshi employment law. Rejected or withdrawn application documents should be deleted after the file retention period unless law requires otherwise.
7. Your rights
- Ask what personal data we hold.
- Ask us to correct wrong or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete data where no legal obligation requires retention.
- Withdraw consent to marketing messages.
- Complain to us first and then to the relevant authority if unresolved.
